Our dedication to our agents, brokers, and policyholders is reflected in the combined results of the PIA 2006 Company Performance Surveys in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. The surveys asked agents to rate companies on 16 characteristics that covered topics such as product coverage, technology, prompt and fair payment of claims, and overall service. Compared to the other companies covered in all three states, we* ranked:
- #1 overall.
- #1 on six individual characteristics, including dedication to the independent agency system, communication, marketing support, technology training and support, speed of service, and underwriting flexibility.
- We ranked in the top five on 15 of 16 characteristics.
The surveys encompassed over 80 companies in total, of which 13 were covered in all three states, including other leading companies serving high net worth clients.
*At the time of the survey, the results reflected our ranking when our organization was part of Atlantic Mutual. Afterwards, we joined the ACE Group of Companies to form ACE Private Risk Services.
